Family Care SF, Inc. is a family-owned, home care and hospice care-provider agency for the elderly and disabled. The company was begun, by Mrs. Marina Riskin in 2001. Mr. Alex Girsh joined his partner Marina in 2002. The original client focuses were the Russian and Jewish communities in the San Francisco Bay Area. Today Family Care SF, Inc is primarily a home care agency that matches all and any kind of clients in need of in-home care or hospice services with a qualified, experienced, and reliable caregiver.
Both Marina and Alex are involved in the Home Care Institute. It is a newly established organization dedicated to caregivers. Home Care Institute is comprised of approximately 10 home/hospice care companies (for-profit and non-profit), and its goal is to

establish universal credentials for caregivers.
Family Care SF is also a member of San Francisco Bay Area Regional Council (www.sfbarc.org) it's a coalition of home care providers in Bay Area. SFBARC purpose: To enhance the delivery of the highest quality home care services through cooperative efforts of provider organizations and interested individuals.
